The Green Lady

Neither queen nor spirit—but something older—The Green Lady stands in still command beneath the watching moon. With antlers like a crown and veils drawn like forest mist, she holds out her hands in ritual silence, inviting you to speak, or to listen. Her gaze is not unkind, but it is unwavering. She is judgment wrapped in ivy and velvet.

Shot on a Sony A7R V with a 50mm lens, this portrait builds on the mythic tones of Moonwrought, shifting from summoning to sovereignty. The lighting frames her as both goddess and guardian, with sharp shadows and translucent veils enhancing the sense of sacred space. Subtle leaf-toned flares and atmospheric textures were layered in post to suggest the unseen—the rustle of branches, the hush of old magic. The result is a portrait of presence: silent, powerful, and utterly rooted in the mythic wild.
