Benediction in Red
Red Lit Gospel
Model: @mariokellert
Every gospel has its priest. And some of them smile while they damn you.
Benediction in Red features @mariokellert mid-ritual, blood cross drawn, chalice in hand, and an expression that’s far too warm for the work being done. The lighting is pulp horror—plastic draped like altar cloth, glowing in crimson. But the posture? That’s devotion.
Captured on a Sony A7R V with a 50mm lens, the composition isolates the moment of laying hands on the hooded figure before him—part sermon, part sentence. He’s not the villain. He’s just… necessary.
Another psalm in the Red Lit Gospel.
